The Ellicott School District 22 covers over 229
square miles of central to eastern El Paso County.
The rural location of the district allows students
opportunities in the outdoors in addition to being
within twenty miles of Colorado Springs, the second
largest city in Colorado.
The district is configured into three attendance
sites. The elementary campus is K-4, the middle
school is 5-8 and the high school is 9-12. With
the start of the 2003-2004 school year, Ellicott
School District 22 began the implementation of
a four-day week. Students begin the school day
at about 8:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Strategies
have been put into place to help the students
be successful at all levels.
